Review of Gomorrah (2008) by Stefano I — 27 Oct 2009

I hate these new fashioned movies which is blindly mimicking their grand parents such as "City of God" or "Amores Perros".

These shallow movies are just borrowing some great ideas of those cult movies. They have nothing by themselves.

Gomarrah is one of these films, They are so many news about this film and also the book. I expected to see a good movie but after watching it, I found out there is nothing added to me.

I don't know if the book is weak in it's mini stories, such as the film or not (cause I haven't read the book), but I'm sure it could be a better adaptation.

Anyway, thanks God it was just the The Grand Prix and not the Palme d'Or!
