From reading around and about this film it has to be congratulated as a brave piece of moviemaking, but you wouldn't particularly know that from watching it. The stories are not fleshed out enough for you to really know what is going on and the structure of the crime family is not obvious.
Some of the scenes are well directed, but others are poorly lit and shot in a way that you often have no idea what is going on.
