Review of Goldfinger (1964) by Matheus C — 16 Feb 2013
This is probably the movie that made the series known for what it is today. The nice cars, the gadgets, the villains, the girls. Definitely the best of the (currently) 23 movies. Gert Fröbe was the perfect choice for Auric Goldfinger, and Oddjob is the most recognizable henchman of all, Harold Sakata did great.
Honor Blackman's age took nothing away from the beauty of Pussy Galore. This is probably the highest point of Sean Connery's stint as 007. If you're trying to get your friends into Bond, this movie is certainly going to make them want more.
