Review of Goldfinger (1964) by Ken S — 19 Nov 2012
This is probably the most iconic of all the Bond films. I think the Connery films are definitely the best. While "Goldfinger" isn't my personal favorite (I love "From Russia With Love"), it is a really great film, possibly even my second favorite.
Connery is top notch, and the villain is probably the best of the franchise. Plenty of classic moments throughout, and along with the previous two films, this adds in some of the final iconic Bond tropes that would persist for the rest of the series.
A true classic of not just spy films, but of the action genre in general.
