Review of Goldfinger (1964) by Ben T — 20 Dec 2014
When it comes to the classic Bond films Goldfinger is my absolute favourite of the pre Craig era. This film is so quintessentially Bond I can't help loving it. This has everything you would expect from a Bond movie, hot women, fast cars, brilliant action, a great villain with an equally great henchman and of course a woman in gold paint.
This film also has some of the most iconic moments in all of Bond, how can you think of Goldfinger and not think of Jill turned gold, or Oddjob's throwing hat, or the Aston Martin DB5, or Bond almost being chopped in half with a laser.
Goldfinger is a Bond I can watch over and over and still love. A+.
