Review of Goldfinger (1964) by Alex T — 25 Jul 2012
A perfect Bond movie filled with gadgets, women, a great villain, a menacing henchman, and Connery in of the coolest performances I've ever seen. This was the movie that really cemented all of the elements that make up a Bond movie.
It may get ludicrous at times, but the movie is aiming for entertainment not realism. This is the best of the Connery Bonds and I have seen it many times. There's not a thing I dislike in it.
