Review of GoldenEye (1995) by Cameroun C — 18 Jan 2012
One of the best Bond movies, and certainly the best of Brosnan's before they got really silly with the one-liners, "Goldeneye" is still the blueprint for reboots. Although Xenia Onatopp is maybe, well over the top in character, how none of the Russians speak Russian to each other, and Alan Cumming's character of Boris' silliness (and his Scottish accent sometimes slipping out), they don't really pull the movie's score down.
It's just too bad the Bond movies didn't progress after this one.
