Our masters have left us.

A mother dog and her puppies are left behind when a family moves out of a house. As the house goes on the market to be sold, the seller's son adopts the puppies; however, the mother dog is taken in by the local animal shelter. Can the son of the seller convince his parents to keep the puppies and help him adopt the mother?

"He's buying golden retrievers to start a fur farm in China. I guess dog skin coats are big over there.".

Sam Mendoti delivers Golden Winters in his directorial debut. The storyline for this movie is nothing special and is delivered in classic Disney cheesy fashion. The plots and subplots are nothing special but the script is actually okay. The acting is fairly mediocre and includes Shannon Elizabeth, Andrew Beckham, Jason Brooks, and Jim Turner.

"We're gonna play dog tag. Guess what.

"What?".

"You're it!".

My daughter is a big fan of dog movies and I came across this picture while flicking through Netflix. We watched this movie today and I was surprised I found myself chuckling on and off. Overall, this movie is nothing special, but it isn't a bad sit down movie with the kids.

"So Charlie loves his mom, okay?!".

Grade: C-.
