Review of Goké, Body Snatcher from Hell (1968) by Felix G — 13 Oct 2008
Japanese alien-invasion film has some overt political messages (aimed primarily at the U.S.) and some of the same social observations that Romero would later make in "Night of the Living Dead," but it's also quite campy.
The use of color is terrific, and the special effects manage to be both gross and funny at the same time.
