Review of Going in Style (2017) by Hugh M — 29 Apr 2017
While some call this safe, I saw it as more grounded in the real world. It had a gorgeous pace and heart to it and gave an ernest tale of senior life and a moral to us all to look after our elders as we would want to be.
It is an important film to give voice to those who cannot retire and are frustrated at the system that failed them; for this reason I feel Hollywood won't understand it but I'm really glad the material made it into the mature hands of Zach.
