Review of Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief (2015) by Richard B — 27 Oct 2015
I liked this documentary about Scientology quite a bit. It gave some great background at first and then included a ton of interviews with former members as well. I loved when it discussed John Travolta and Tom Cruise as it was really interesting.
At 2 hours it is a little long for a documentary, but I never got too bored. I do think it should have started a little simpler in just explaining what Scientology is, because my wife knew very little and was therefore not too interested in this and it probably wouldn't be unless you really wanted to know more about Scientology.
Overall a very well made documentary that I included even if it was a little long.
