Godzilla 2K was a good attempt to bring the big green guy back after the American made disaster in 1997. This movie was a definite step backward. The monsters were too humanized in their actions, moves, and responses.
The idea of the black hole was a good one, but the actions of the monsters was too much like the movies of the '70's. The costume is really cool, his breath is really cool, but jumping? Get real.
Yes, you have to suspend reality to watch one of these, but this one asked just a little too much of its audience.
