Review of Godzilla, King of the Monsters! (1956) by Hertig M — 30 Sep 2007

This was far grimmer than I expected it to be. Lots of gloom and doom. Much of the movie is really hard to follow -- hardly surprising given the fact that the English version was cut down from the original Japanese version, half-dubbed, and then supplemented with the brooding Raymond Burr replacing the original Japanese reporter.

I prefer Gamara, I think.
