Review of Godzilla, King of the Monsters! (1956) by Thomas D — 15 Aug 2009
The original, and therefore, the best, right? Well not really. It seems really plodding and the special effects are murky since most of it takes place at night. Still, the pacing does help fill in a somewhat pace of dread.
It's fun to think what Godzilla represented. I suppose it was the big bad United States, but it could just be Nuclear Bombs, but I doubt it.
