Review of Godzilla (2014) by Tom M — 02 May 2015

Interesting take on the Godzilla storyline. Like many movies today, it tries to present sci-fi in a realistic scenario (or at least as realistic as possible.) While the title is Godzilla, the movie focuses instead on the survival efforts of its main characters, bringing a human element to the film.

All in all, it was a pretty average movie with a low ceiling and high floor. I anticipate that now that the production crew have their feet wet, the future installments will be a bit less conservative.
