Review of Godzilla (2014) by Ilja S — 22 Jan 2016
This movie is basically what the Roland Emmerich desaster should have been. It's not perfect, and it is mostly due to A.T. Johnson, who's character (and his family) got all the screentime Godzilla should have gotten and still fails to give you a good performance or even add humanity to the characters.
The movie is griddy, entertaining, and features an (for the most part) interesting story.
