Review of Godzilla (2014) by Kit T — 08 Jun 2016
I'll certainly admit the special effects were good, as if the effects from the earlier movies were translated into a more modern style but the substandard and appalling acting made me question my desire to live.
Bryan Cranston was the only half decent actor only to be killed off faster than the concept of Mickey mouse having a neo-Nazi sidekick. While the plot was relatively intelligible, I feel the whole concept would be improved by following several normal people's experiences of the monster rampage rather than the unexciting lead character played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
However, still recommended just to remind you it could be worse.
