Review of Godzilla (2014) by Jared B — 27 Sep 2016

I can absolutely not believe the love this movie has gotten from critics and fans. This was the biggest disappointment for me this year. I tried to write a coherent review and I couldn't so I instead will just give a list of my grievances.

1. Bryan Cranston was terribly wasted.

2. The humans in this movie are so boring.

3. The Muto's get a 45 minute origin story and Godzilla's is summed up in 30 seconds.

4. Not enough Godzilla, and therefore not enough action.

5. The choice for the filmmakers to film the last action scene from the perspective and camera view of bystander was a poor choice.

6. The final scene is laughably awful.

Please don't waste your time on this movie.
