Review of Godzilla (2014) by Lifeaswe K — 08 Aug 2015

This movie shows us how a reboot should be done as Gareth Edwards gives the Godzilla monster justice.

I really liked this movie,I think it's fantastic it's breath taking and very well acted.Bryan Cranston is very good on the role but I really liked Aaron Taylor-Johnson too as he gave an amazing performance as the leading role.

The visuals on this movie are some of the best ever put to screen,you can see through humans eyes many times here and that makes you feel like you are actually there running from that thing.The MUTOs looked awesome and Godzilla even better,there was so much detail on him and I really liked it.

The fight scene at the end is beyond amazing but the leading up to it not as much.There are some down times when the pacing just feels off and also another problem with the movie is that it doesn't really show Godzilla until the very end,and the monsters just go through the city destrying buildings and wrecking things but you only see the afterwards,only the destructions made not being made and that's a real problem here because in a Godzilla movie we want to see monsters wreck things and here we don't get that as much as we wish we did.

Though I really like the story line ,the acting is great,the visuals are also great some flaws here and there but overall I think this is a very underrated movie and deserves much more praise.
