Review of Godzilla 2000: Millennium (1999) by Spiros T — 10 Jan 2009
I gotta say, I was disappointed. The last Godzilla movie I saw was a CGI spectacle of crappy proportions (Tri-Star's Godzilla), but Godzilla 2000 reminded me of the cheap BMM's I watch on Sci-Fi on Saturday nights. Ultimately, I was expecting a lot more than what I got. The actors were lousy, Godzilla was cool, and no time was given for Orga to smash stuff. The crappiest of the crappy is the line, "Godzilla is in all of us." If this was Toho's best effort to clean up after Tri-Star's abomination, I'm disappointed.
