Review of Godzilla (1998) by Ashley S — 20 Nov 2011

This movie is oft berated by fans of the japanese films(which I am also) but I have fond memories of this movie from my childhood. Seeing a giant monster rip up a city is always fun and the effects(though now look dated) were really impressive at the time.

I don't even mind the little godzillas as that provided a little variation from big godzilla smashing the place up. In my opinion I'd rather the americans make an original american produced version of godzilla than rehash, re-edit and put horrible dubbing on the japanes classics.
