This film features relatively little in the way of dialogue. There are some lovely landscape shots of the land - rural land in Yorkshire. Its at least partly about isolation and opening up. It does feature a number of sex scenes and its mainly about a gay couple, so if that would offend you then obviously look elsewhere. It was nice getting to hear the noise of nature nearby - birds twitting etc.

I thought both the main characters, Johnny Saxby and Gheorghe Ioenscu, gave good performances, being quite facially expressive. The longing especially in Johnny's face is quite palpable - we as viewers have to guess what exactly is going through his mind at certain times. Ut was nice to see how they opened up to each other (and I don't mean entirely physically(!)). I thought it was relatively touching, in a good way, of course - the subtle, under-stated-ness of it. its another of those films in which its whats not said that perhaps means more, than what is.

I thought this was a decent film. Previously I did watch a bit of it and decided not to bother with the rest, as it seemed a bit explicit but I'm glad I stuck with it this time - its more about isolation and opening up, which I can relate to more I suppose. Scenes focussing who I presume to be Johnny's parents were also quite touching in a way.

I'd say its worth a watch, so yes, I would recommend it.
