Review of God's Not Dead (2014) by Cinematic J — 17 Oct 2014
I don't often stop in the middle of a film I'm watching, much less after only six minutes. But I realized that this film just really isn't for me and there just wasn't going to be a positive outcome here.
I actually didn't even get to meet the Evil Atheist Professor Strawman Who Is Secretly Just Mad at Jesus and Just Needs a Hug. But I was introduced to the EEEVIL MUSLIMS and EEEVIL LIBERALS and they even had a chance to introduce an ALZHEIMER'S REALLY ISN'T THAT BAD, GUYS subplot.
And I'm sorry, but I just couldn't do it. Films like this don't take us seriously, so there's really no reason for us to take them seriously. It wasn't worth my time, it isn't worth your time, and if I ever try to watch this thing again friends and alcohol will be involved.
