Review of God's Not Dead (2014) by Dannychryst — 10 Mar 2021
Anti-atheist propaganda film full of bad acting and logical fallacies. The "proof" this film offers for the existence of a god is the same tired "god of the gaps" argument that never explains anything.
This film is a massive misrepresentation of both philosophy AND atheism. The teacher is actually a misotheist (believing in a god and hating it), so the film just straw-mans the atheist position the entire time.
Kevin Sorbo is a right-wing nut job continuing to embarrass himself with cinematic dumpster fires like this. Any self-respecting Christian should condemn this, and sadly many of them will see this and feel that this further emboldens their persecution complex.
The entire premise of the story is laughably exaggerated to the point of absurdity, just like the Bible.
