Review of God's Not Dead 2 (2016) by Rick Y — 06 Apr 2016
The atheists who write reviews despise faith-based movies like this that support the religious majority's preference for good Christian films. I especially liked the strong defense of the historical Jesus - that there is no doubt that he lived and was crucified by the Romans with the support of the Jewish hierarchy.
But the point is that discussing Jesus as a historical figure, comparing him to Gandhi or M.L. King as part of the educational process does not violate any prohibition against proselytizing, even if the teacher is a Christian.
The movie deals with these issues quite well, and is worth seeing for those reasons.
