Review of Gods and Generals (2003) by Gretchen S — 04 Dec 2007
The dialog sounds incredibly stiff, it covers a huge chunk of the war with no depth whatsoever, the endless battle sequences grow tiresome quickly, and it practically canonizes Stonewall Jackson. Too pro-Confederate for my liking, nowhere near as good as Gettysburg.
And where's the Battle of Antietam?
