Review of Gods and Generals (2003) by Garner M — 24 Apr 2017
This is an unusually long movie, however, it is well worth the watch. Many people think that it is "pro confederate," but that is because we have always been taught that the civil war was just because of slavery, and that everyone in the south was bad.
This movie, while partially fictional, gives a glance as to why the events of the early years of the Civil War took place, and how it shaped the men that, whether you like it or not, shaped our nation.
