So horrendously detailed, overplayed on the acting front, and way overlong. There are far better 3-hour films to invest your time into. Try the Godfather, Apocalypse Now, or The Deer Hunter. Don't waste your time on an oozing, tortoise speed, textbook take on the Civil War.
