This could be a great period piece and one of the few good Civil War films but...too much mustard on the bun imo.
Way too long for the reward of the film. Over the top character spinning with arbitrary characters that take away from the would be epic.
The battles of Bull Run, Fredericksburg are incredible but, the action is so far in between fluff.
A great film on the way war was done in the mid 1800's.
