Audrey Tautou's character is insane. Also, apparently 21, which sort of explains it. It was more amusing than I expected it to be, but AT's character was a little too young and naive and kind of dumb for me.
From the way he ate her face and tried to crush her head when he kissed her, I thought Francois was going to turn out to be an abuser, but fortunately that wasn't where it went.
Also, AT's hair is insane.
