Here's a film that teeteres on the edge of greatness for a while.

It's not great, but it's pretty good.

A man watches in disbelief as both his life and the America he loved fall apart. A country obsessed with fear and hate, ignorance and greed, reality TV and extremist commentators.

Finally he's had enough anmd takes off on a journey of revenge.

Somehow he finds a teenage fellow traveller and they start to kill the evil Americans.

If you can buy into it, it is a very involving film as the comedy turns to tragedy.

Slaughter, belly laughs and the occasional slightly flat footed diatribe about the vacuousness of modern life.

I'd watch it again.
