Review of Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) by Wes M — 24 May 2011
This was really cool!
Ok, I know a movie about real estate salesmen sounds extremely boring, but you gotta give this a chance! The characters feel almost too real. Alec Baldwin's speech at the beginning is Oscar-worthy (which is saying something, cuz he's in the movie for those 7 mins, and that's it). Each character has a different way of attempting to "close". I was wishing this movie would never end; some of the best dialogue, delivered from an all-star cast. Also, it's a 100 minute movie, and there's only 4 or 5 scenes, so you're practically forced to pay attention for 20 minute spans! Yea, this one's a winner in my book.
