Review of Glass (2019) by Compi24 — 19 Jan 2019
Fans of either "Unbreakable" or "Split" beware, "Glass's" blatant disregard for its central trio of characters may just infuriate, disappoint, or otherwise disturb you. The movie's first three-quarters had me so rapt, riveted, and drawn in, but it's the ending that ultimately left me feeling like Samuel L.
Jackson's "Elijah Price" at the beginning of this trilogy's first installment -- alone, small, and misunderstood. I thought I was on the same page with Shyamalan when it came to the rules of this world, the import of these characters, and the direction at hand.
I suppose I was wrong, and I'm crestfallen as a result. Ugh.
