Review of Give 'em Hell, Malone (2009) by Allan C — 22 Mar 2010

So much potential for this film. Started out as a satirical take on the Private Eye Detective genre and descended quickly into a mediocre action film. All this film really needed was to be a bit more over the top and to not take itself too seriously.

Good performances, overly cliched story and dialogue (that could have been entertaining if it wasn't a serious attempt). Strange editing decisions at parts. I wouldn't say that you shouldn't see it, just don't expect too much.
