Steven Soderbergh is an amazing and talented director who can make "pop corn" movies (OUT OF SIGHT, OCEAN 11-12-13 etc.) and also more personal movies ( SEX,LIES & VIDEOTAPES, THE LIMEY,CHE part 1 & 2 etc.).
Here, in the good tradition of a Bob Fosse (LENNY,STAR 80)and a Mike Figgis (LEAVING LAS VEGAS) films,THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE is a intimist portrait of an escort girl. The story focused on her relation with her clients and her lover.
Each sequences is magnificent. The photography is beautiful and the colors are sublime. Very stylistic.
