If the reason you're watching "The Girlfriend Experience" is to see Sasha Grey show off her beaver and tits, go buy one of her "other" works. She shines as Chelsea, the high-priced escort who thinks she has everything figured out: her work is rising, and her boyfriend is on the up-and-up with his services as a professional trainer.

She breaks the one rule while working in the business of pleasure: never confuse sex and attraction with genuine feelings and a need for a meaningful connection, especially when that's what Chelsea is selling to her clients.

This is a small-scale work by Soderbergh, and it ends all too quickly, but "The Girlfriend Experience" and its star, Sasha Grey, will sneak up and floor you.
