Review of Girl, Interrupted (1999) by Base 6 — 30 Sep 2012
Angelina is audacious and lovable in this role - which is somehow appropriate for her at this age. Ryder delivers a wholly compelling look through the eyes of a strong and introspective young woman trapped in an institution far more troubled than her own character.
Her sometimes slow progression into a role-model for the other girls was well worth the wait.
