Well... it certainly was unexpected. A prequel to a gory teen werewolf film... set in a pre-colonial Canadian trading post??? That's thinking outside the box. Was it an elaborate ploy to bring back "Ginger"? Maybe.
Better than most prequels nonetheless. And I do happen to love Emily Perkins. Someone make more movies with her in them!
