Review of Ginger Snaps (2000) by Rachel N — 05 Mar 2009
"I get this ache... And I, I thought it was for sex, but it's to tear everything to fucking pieces.".
Clever and original. The use of puberty and lycanthropy is outstanding. I can watch it over and over and yet, it never gets boring.
Katherine Isabelle and Emily Perkins had amazing chemistry on screen and portrayed close-knit sisters Ginger and Bridgette beautifully.
Ginger Snaps should definitely be considered as a modern classic of the Horror genre in the near future.
