For the late sixties, the editing in this documentary is amazing. Other than superb editing and incredible footage, however, not much of a story is told... this is mostly just the Stones' performance at the infamous Altamont concert, in addition to occasionally showing Mick Jagger's response to some of the unruliness that had occurred there (he's shown screening parts of the footage).
