Review of Gilles' Wife (2004) by Lori O — 20 Jun 2009
I liked it better than most French films (I'm not a fan), and I could very much relate to the woman's struggle and choices. I know many wouldn't. But it took a while to get used to the lack of dialog.
And the ending felt like something right before hand was missing. I'm not sure if I missed it or if the filmmaker didn't make it obvious enough. I feel like it never finished properly for me.
