Review of Gilda (1946) by Emily B — 06 Aug 2007
Rita is electric. After watching it again, it must be pointed out that this is a really smoking hot peice of film. Quintessential noir that perfectly captures the moody, albeit puzzling world of 1940's thrillers.
Not as 'epic' as Casablanca or seedy as Double Indemnity, but sexier than any of them put together.
