Let's face it: this is an okay movie made great by Rita Hayworth's intoxicating performance. You really can't write or direct a scene that says "Stare seductively at your male counterpart for five seconds in order to get him angry.
" Rita was born with it and, here at her apex, she delivers. A splendid job.
