It seems very cool to hate Gigli, which is why I chose to watch it. Certainly not as bad as most of Nick Cage's offerings, a lot better than most of Kevin Costner's outings, and a good deal better than a lot of rom-coms.
It's not terrific, but I have certainly seen worse. MUCH worse. (The scene where J Lo is doing yoga is worth the price of admission alone.).
