Some movies are ready for you almost as soon as you are mature. Others will wait for you until you have lived enough to appreciate them. The timeless ones have that advantage over us mortals. And this one is like love, very dependent on being the right people at the right time.
And the 3rd time around with Gigi, was the charm for me. Thank heaven, for large home theaters. For even though I saw this one once before at the Prytania, I wasn't ready for it then. Luckily when I was ready, I was still able to see it on a big screen.
And hopefully, love can be the same when I'm ready for my close up.
