As a teenager I grew up watching the Gidget series thanks to my mom, who did the same thing. I love it, its got a special place in my heart. But I still don't like Sandra Dee as Gidget, she's a perfect Tammy, however.
Deborah Walley or Sally Field make a perfect Gidget though!
