Review of Giant (1956) by Bob S — 05 Aug 2007
Now, that was a long movie! The film painted a great picture of the racism and sexism in Texas. Elizabeth Taylor is fantastic as the matriarch. This movie reminded me of the Godfather series - but with Texans rather than Italians.
Only problem was that the Edna Ferber novel would have been better split into three separate movies rather than jumping around too much in one.
