Review of Giant (1956) by Christian O — 18 Feb 2008
There are very few flicks on this earth that truly deserve to be called masterpieces, and this is definatly one of them. Rock Hudson kicked ass as the tough cattle rancher, and Elizabeth Taylor gave her best perfromance in Giant than in any other movie.
and of course Jimmy Dean deserves some recognition as Jett - he kicked ass too. A very long movie, but such a great story like this cant be told any shorter than 201 minutes. Masterpiece.
