This is a film that on paper looks much better than it actually is, with its starry iconic cast & James Dean in his last film, which is prob the main reason for watching this (that & being reminded of just how pretty Taylor used to be.
) Rock Hudsonn's macho character also seems q ironic now in hindsight. Overall there is some good acting (as can be expected) & cinematography but it is far too overindulgent for its own good & could've done with a lot more trimming being far too long to hold sustained interest.
