A Eastern woman meets a texs man at her fathers home. The marry and she has to learn to adapt to a life of cattle and dust in Texas. There is a field hand who is troubble., Dean He likes taylor. Her husband gives him a piece of land and one day he sstrikes oil.
He can not get away from his bad ways. He woos Taylors underaged daughter who sees him for what he really is. Her face shows it all and is a great point in the movie. He may now be rich but hes still low class.
